CEBU CITY (Nov. 17, 2022) — More than 13,000 beneficiaries of the financial assistance for the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) program will receive their ₱3,000 cash assistance tomorrow, Nov. 18.
Dr. Esther Concha, head of the Department of Social Welfare Services, made this announcement during the Panaghisgot Forum, held at the caucus room of the Cebu City Hall’s legislative building.

The distribution will be done simultaneously in all 80 barangays in the city, with City Hall employees serving as disbursement officers.
The distribution, according to Concha, will be done either at the barangay gym, barangay hall, or at a designated open area in the barangay.
Concha said that, based on their current records, there will be 13,339 PWDs who will receive ₱3,000 covering the months of August, September, and October.
