The mayor also instructed organizers to ensure that billeting areas for the athletes are clean.
“Dili man na mahimo nga mag-host-host ka diha, unya ang eskwelahan (billeting areas) hugaw, tabangan na namo. Kung way tubig, tabangan na,” he said during Ingna’ng Mayor over RMN Sugboanon Channel this morning.
Rama said he is set to meet with the organizers to discuss the final touches for the six-day sports event.
He wants to ensure that the needs of the 12,000 participants will be taken care of.
“Tanan gikinahanglan (sa mga participants), amo na’ng seguro-on,” he said. These include clean drinking water, and ample water for bathing, toilet use and laundry.
